Mayweather was called the best without fighting the best only 3 times in his career he has fought top tier fighter in their prime, Corrales Castillo and Hatton. He jumped to division to divison without fighting any other champions. Look at Cotto, he knocked the same fighters Mayweather decisioned over 12 rounds, he fought undefeated fighters who later on went to become champions. your comment looks silly boy. you explain to me how someone gets called the best by fighting low tier fighters jackass. he was called the best because he was the best akilled overall, the most dominant, smartest fighter, he did everything fleuntly, looked sharp all of the time, and fought champions. do some more research little boy before you bash his legacy. he is the best, deal with it. there's no fighter of the past 3 to 4 decades that has been overall more skilled than floyd, no fighter.

think again. what are you basing this comment on, both have to land on floyd to do damage don't they? floyd could make any fighter in history look bad, because of how good his defense is, blocking, slipping punches, ect. floyd sr made sugar look bad. tommy hearns has a great jab and long arms, but i don't see him beating floyd, floyd is too fast, too elusive, and unlike ray leonard was, who was very dynamic, floyd is too methodical a fighter for tommy, he wouldn't waste punches like ray did.

Skills doesnt make you the best. for Terry Norris had skill but no focus, Floyd has skills but no heart Sugar Ray Robinson and Leonard, Ali Roy Jones, Pernall Whitaker all skilled technical fighter would be all unbeaten today if they went the same route as floyd to never fight the best in their era and division.
