GRONINGEN - De voormalige Groningse studente, die in Colombia bij de linkse terreurbeweging de FARC zou vechten, is Tanja Nijmeijer uit Groningen.
Tanja Nijmeijer was jaren geleden actief in de Groningse kraakbeweging. Dat blijkt uit een interview uit 2001 met een verslaggever van RTV Noord die destijds bij het Nieuwsblad van het Noorden werkte. Tanja woonde toen in een kraakpand aan de Spilsluizen in Groningen. Het ministerie van Buitenlan
dse Zaken zegt echter niet te weten wie de vrouw is. De Rijksuniversiteit Groningen heeft inmiddels bevestigd dat de guerilla-strijdster er Spaans heeft gestudeerd. Of Nijmeijer degene is die als 'Eillen' in Colombia voor de FARC vecht, wil de RuG niet bevestigen. Het dagboek van de vrouw werd onl
angs gevonden door het Colombiaanse leger bij een verrassingsoverval. In het dagboek uit de voormalige Groningse studente kritiek op de FARC. Ze schrijft dat ze na jaren van strijd twijfelt aan het regime. Volgens deskundigen heeft Tanja weinig kans om de zaak te overleven. De FARC zal haar straffe
n voor haar kritiek. Weet ze te ontsnappen en ze komt in handen van de regering, dan loopt haar een celstraf van 25 jaar boven het hoofd.

Im a Colombian, I think like many People in the world, that the FARC ARE A TERRORIST GROUP SUCH AS ETA. Young people in Colombia is cheated to join guerrilla with the "False doctrine of the communism". They have to left behind and forget their families, to live in the jungle full of deseases, to take care of drug laboratories,

Je zou er verbaasd van staan hoeveel mensen dat soort communistische ideen hadden/hebben. De meeste zitten nu in de 2de Kamer. SP bijvoorbeeld was vroeger extreem links. En ik denk dat haar studiegeld wel het laatste is wat men van haar zou willen. Van mij mag ze daar blijven en zich doodvechten ( rot voor haar ouders, maar beter dan een terrorist in de familie, al is het je eigen vlees en bloed ).
