I have now fitted the tracks on my tank and this is its first test drive.

Yes I was going to make a Sherman I have a mock up photo of one on my website showing how it could look.
This cost me about
£3000ish, a bit less than an old Ferret Scout car would have cost but I can tow this as total weight with trailer is under 1000kg a scout car would be about 6 times that and eat petrol at $10 US per gallon as it is now in the UK.

Not everyone is like that in America... I personally think this is an absolutely fabulous piece of homebuilt engineering. Great use of an Argo vehicle.

WW2 AIRSOFT UK yes not sure about others, I was on a few forums asking for opinions as I built it(BBC Blaster forum & Airsoftrecon). At one point it may have ended up as a Sherman but the Argo pointed to Tetrarch more because of the 8 wheels. Most people said make this tank so this is my compromise version.

you should put an airsoft bazooka or an airsoft minigun on that cannon...it would be sweet. But how to direct the crosshairs on that...that would would require a lot of work..i guess.

A good way for aiming on things like this is a small video camera like the one it uses for reversing and a 7" monitor in the turret.
At the moment I have just got the main gun as a simulator using gas generated on board from water. See response videos.
