| Ricky doesn't know how to go backwards. You have to admire his aggression no matter who he's fighting but I think he fought this wrong against Floyd - Floyd is a highly intelligent and sharp boxer and Ricky needed to be a lot more guarded than any of his previous fights. |

| What a performance by Floyd. That folks, is how you finish a fight. Never seen Floyd look sharper than that. Oh course, we all knew Hatton wasn't in Floyd's league to begin with. Big ups to Hatton for taking this fight. He had to know he was screwed going into it. He is indeed one tough customer. Once again, big ups to Hatton. He fought the best fighter in the world, and lost. No shame in that. |

| In addition to not being able to fight going backwards, I think a major problem for Hattonoing is that he can't make defensive adjustments. Floyd hit him with the exact same punches all night long, the straight right lead and the counter left that Hatton walked into. Basically he said to Ricky "If you let me, I'm going to hit you with the same punches all night long", and Ricky never changed a thing to stop it. Eventually he gave Floyd too many chances to hit him with those shots. |
