See, even if Jerry did make Dean mad, which I bet he did a bunch of times, they were still friends and frienship helps you over anything. I am just happy that Dean died being friends with Jerry because he was his best friend

You should read the book Jerry Lewis wrote, 'Dean and Me'. It's an excellent read and it gives soooo much information!
There are also a few biography's here on youtube.

the only thing is i've been watching some interviews on here with jerry when much older and i have an inclination that his stories about the split seemed made up

LOL...Ive studied Jerry Lewis since I was 8 years old.
There never was some big event that took place which made them split up, it was more or less just one of those things that happens. Its like in any sort of relationship...they just needed to break. Dean just wanted to spred his wings...and Jerry was hogging his spot light...They did die friends. Jerry loved Dean with all his heart...and still accepts blame himself for everything that went wrong

Another thing was that they were very different in so many ways....Jerry practicaly oozed love and affection all over poor Dino...and Dean just wasnt like that.
I love Jerry, though. Im alot like him, and thats why Im such a fan.
