| its a plugin by optium called compadre. There is now sidechaining facilities in cubase 4 with the VST3 protocol |

| THANK YOU. i was wondering so long how to set up a sidechain to key and duck. that was technically called ducking what he did. Keying would be like allowing an oscillator set to a low tone to pass through along with the kick. Or allowing some white noise to come through on each snare hit. |
