Biggie is the undeniable king of NY because he was really the first one given that title. not because he screamed it on every record, but because the masses felt he deserved it. Jay-Z thought he might be next in line because of his relation to Big and the fact that he remained consistent as far as putting material that was better than most of what was out there. the same could be said for Nas though. not as many albums as Jay but definently better than most.
