soz to break it to you but the engine in cubase is a lot better,,, flstudio is good for ease of use, but for serious sound a good engine helps a lot

I have Cubase sx 3, Tascam ew 1082, motif 8 Creative Audigy sound blaster interface and the Firewire out put connection and other midi drum machines and like the
E MU 7 and a Roland VP 9000 all on a souped up PC CPU with Vista. The problem is I can't confugure the input into Cubase in the to record the sounds. How do I hook up the units for MIDI and Audio to record.

shows how much of a Newb you are. Cubase is awesome, however FL can be powerful as well. I wouldn't use FL for recording audio, thats what Cubase and even better Pro tools is for. But in the hands of a master FL makes awesome beats.

first of all steinberg isn't 'a guy' who made cubase LOL..it's a major audio company and employs many 'guys'. secondly sx3 is old crap cubase 4 is the new deal.

for some reason, my midi output only makes sound when it's on Microsoft GS Wavetable SW Synth. If the output it on FW1884(my interface board) or LM-7, there's signal, but no sound. Can you help me?
