can anyone tell me what the stand is thats being used? i need a good stand that doesnt shake like this one for my recordings, i've got quite a good one now it was about £60 at the time! with a stand on top of it for putting other keyboards on top - but it rocks really bad! whats this one? thanks

I bought an M-audio ultra interface. I'm using it as the only device for my computer, but there is still a lot of latency with my axiom. I'm using Sonar 6 and when I turn the samples down, it doesn't fix the latency. Does anyone have any ideas?

To the best of my knowledge, the only way you will solve latency issues is to use ASIO drivers. I don't use Sonar, but ASIO drivers and a $200 sound card fixed ALL my latency issues. Also, try hardware monitoring (when appropriate) when you play along or record. This last method cut my remaining latency by a factor of two.

I'm thinking about buying this keyboard, but I had a question I was hoping someone could help me with, (I'm mostly a guitarist, so I don't know much about MIDI and all that stuff) How would I use this in a live application? I know it's only a controller, and you need some kind of audiobox or computer or something. What would be the setup? What do I have to buy to make it run through a P.A.? I own a laptop, do I need more?

to begin with, you should be ok with FLStudio 8 and few nice VSTs like Native Instruments Akoustik Piano, Absynth 4, FM8, Pro-53, Arturia CS-80, Vanguard etc... Every knob can be assigned in FL to a specific action in the VST by the "midi learn" function. Good luck! If you see the ASIO option in FLStudio on your laptop, you should be ok with it also.

I'm not really sure what all that means. I'm not very up to date with keyboard stuff. Are those computer programs or something? Sorry if that sounded stupid, I'm just getting a start on this. I was told I need "an audio interface like a Presonus Audiobox" to make it work in a live situation.

forget Presonus Audiobox, you need the ESSENTIAL first (that means a sequencer and SOUNDS). You could go to FLSTUDIO website and see what's all about... Download the demo and play a little! You'll get hooked. :)

I brought one last week, and I love it! I read the reviews first, So I went to guitar center and picked up one for $400 including tax. The only complaint is the manuel is not well written, but I read about this in the reviews, and for the price I couldnt find anything better. So far I am really happy I got it. If you go to guitar center this friday you can get a decent discount for Black Friday.
