Thats absolute rubbish! Tszyu fought 6 months prior to this fight against Sharmba Mitchell and won by 3rd round stoppage. Mitchell was knocked down 4 times. Get your facts straight before talking shit.

Kostya Tsyzu last fight before the 'Hatton bout was his rematch against Sharmba Mitchell November 6th 2004, which he won by KO in the 3rd Round. The 'Hatton fight was June 5th 2005. Please don't make any excuses for Tsyzu, who was 35yrs at the time. He is a legend and doesn't need them.

You obviously haven't watched Hatton vs Malignaggi fight few days ago. Hatton's game is changed, he doesn't hold/wrestle anymore at all (Malignaggi was a pussy, holding whenever he's in trouble), he moves his head more, jab more...Malignaggi fight was awesome, Ricky destroyed him.

He had 3 fights in 2001,1 in 2002, 1 in 2003, and 1 in 2004. Beating Mitchel twice,Urkal,Judah,Tackie and Leija.

I watched the fight vs Malignaggi. Malignaggi is a weak one dimensional boxer who fights with one hand and poses no threat due to the fact that his right hand was broken 4 times, not that he could ever punch anyways. Hatton is way overrated and I don't see why British fans praise him so much. Calzaghe on the other hand is an entirely different story.

Despite of not having the strength or knowledge on how to approach Hatton, Malignaggi also doesn't have the punching power to threaten Hatton. So why hold? When the guy doesn't even pose any threat. I want to see a fight between Hatton and Margaritto, this is where equal strength would be matched I think and I am pretty sure Hatton would get destroyed.

Hatton was great in that fight. Even Mayweather said that Hatton was one of the toughest fighters he had ever fought (and that was before Floyd Sr changed his game for Malignaggi, so he's even better now). And his fans are the best. No one has support like that.

I would like to see that fight also (though I think that Hatton is at his best at light welterweight). I'm waiting to see what's going to happen between Oscar and Pacquiao, one of them will be Hatton's next opponent so we will have to see that one first.

you can say what you want but you cant deny he is one of the most exciting fighters on the planet, the only loss on his record is to the man who is recognised as the number one pound for pound fighters and also as one of the most skillful fighters of all time. but i would still rather watch ricky v someone like pacman than a long drawn out 12 rounder that mayweather would produce
