At this point nobody know what it is the stand that FARC has , all that people knows is that they should have listened to the Goverment when they gave to FARC the posibliity to be a political party , many many times in the past , they did not wanted to accepted and used kidnapped people to bargain , now they are weak and the terms of a negotiantion can be different , we will see how things happen ..

Not according to the the law. ANY agent of the government does not get the same due process rights as private interests. That's why Rep. H. Wexler has had a difficult time in getting any traction on anything concerning "Blackwater" (for example). Heck, if YOU hired Blackwater, you bet your behind the Feds will be after you. But if the gov't hires them, nothing. But yeah, they are the same, in application.

thank you, I think FARC might able to survive thanks to financing from narco-trafic. It might be an strategic time for Colombia to offer a negotiation opportunity given the current situation; it may get some sort of amnesty in exchange for prisoners plus surrender? not sure.. Are you Colombian do you know if they FARC has any representative power among the people in the country side?
