This is from one of Burns & Allen's first TV shows (when they appeared every other Thursday night on CBS), originally telecast live from New York in November 1950. George often retold the story of how he met Gracie in these monologues; his close friend Jack Benny once wrote in George's first book "I Love Her, That's Why" (1955), "George never tells the same story twice!".
