Roxette - Joyride- Cubase programming

First one thing: It is almost impossible to make that song "real sounding like the original" with virtual instruments. The guitar intros can't be better made without real guitars! There they are the limits of midi music... Without "my hands", it's just too much work to cut all these videos togeth
er as before. And this time it would even take longer cause it was more work! So... here is how far I've got... again made by "hearing the original and then doing" The song tempo was guessed by me. I set up here 100bpm. today I cheched out the original and came out with 102.200btm. hehe... ;o) Use

usic since i was a child. I "play by hearing". I first started with keyboard later e-piano and guitar. All these three things work quite well. I hear a song and after a short while I am able to play it. More text info in the other music stuff I have uploaded!

hehe, i know. This is no endmix so I didn't care that much. I found out for some rock songs a really little bassdrum track clipping seems to be ok. without the drumtrack sounds here well too clean and listless.

I just found an article that says that I am not that wrong. There is written: "Cubase sx's Master is actually the best Limiter/Maximizer u can find... its even a bit better than the Timeworks mastering compressor. Of course i wouldnt recomend to clip too much before master , but i would sure not be worried about +1 to +2db cliping" that was the guy who mastered britney spears haha

hmmm your donig well good man 2 u! however i wouldlike you to look at my videos! theres things i am not doing to make my music sound great! people like it buut i believe im not using cubase sx to its full capacity, i use no mixing desks, got a quadcore, 4 gig mem, x4 500 gig hdds, x2 8800gts ultras. That dont help graphically! but the rest does. and a Xfi-elite pro with 5ms latency
