So I looked up his political background. NO doubt, he was far from racist. This is just for general knowledge by the way. He supported H. Wallace in campaign. It was later he supported staunch Republicans. Go figure, because he was so Leftist, Roosevelt was investigating him...He was pissed at the Kennedy family by the way, accusing him of mob ties, so maybe that caused the switch?
